A foreign citizen or a stateless person on the territory of the Russian Federation is required to have an identity document, a migration card, a detachable part of the notification form with a mark on migration registration.
Upon arrival at the University, within one working day, a foreign citizen who intends to live in a University dormitory must submit an identity card, as well as a migration card to the Department of International and External Relations.
The university, as the co-host, is obliged, within five working days, to make a migration registration in the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in North Ossetia-Alania (for ninety days).
In the case a foreign citizen stays in a residential building that does not belong to the University (hotel, hostel, apartment), the procedure for his migration registration is carried out by the administration of the hotel or hostel, or by the individual owner of the accommodation within two working days.
